Sesame chicken marinated in lemon and bulgur, mango, mint and popcorn salad

This morning, after a bad night because of the heat, I decided to make a fresh recipe, very fresh! A desire to eat fruit but in a consistent way! After reflection, a good mixture of bulgur, fresh mint and popcorn. And to keep you going, delicious chicken drumsticks marinated in lemon, soy sauce and sesame. I am really satisfied with the result and the photo which is not often the case;)

The chicken:

  • 4 chicken drumsticks
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy
  • Salt and pepper
  • 3 tablespoons golden sesame
  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar

Bulgur salad:

  • 1 ripe mango
  • 1 bunch of mint (To chisel and for decoration)
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1/2 glass popcorn
  • 1 glass of raw bulgur
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

The chicken:

Prepare the marinade by mixing all the ingredients well.

Add the chicken drumsticks then again the sesame and a little sugar for a nice color for cooking.

Leave to marinate for a good hour then put in a baking sheet at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes.

Let cool.

Bulgur salad:

Put the bulgur to cook for 10 minutes in boiling salted water then cool.

Cook the popcorn in a saucepan with a lid on pain of fireworks in the kitchen 🙂

Dice the mango, add the chopped mint and the popcorn.

Lightly sugar.

Prepare the dressing by putting the bulgur slightly mixed with a little olive oil and taste the seasoning.

Then putting the mango preparation on top.

Arrange the chicken drumsticks alongside with a nice decoration.
